Stage 6 — Issue for Quotes

Stamp a numbered issue and send each supplier a private link with the item schedule and marked-up plans, then track the prices that come back.

Methodology: Suppliers quote against a definite issue (v1, v2 …), never a moving drawing. Each issue goes out as a set: the runs plan, the symbols plan, then the schedules, and a revised issue marks what is New or changed from the previous one and lists deleted lines, so a supplier can re-price only what moved. Replies land as quotes on Money, reconciled against quantity × price each. Nothing about your budget or another supplier's price is ever included.

Steps:

  1. Check the Current schedule panel — it shows exactly what an issue stamped now would contain.
  2. Press Request quotes or comments, choose the suppliers per trade, and send; each gets a private link that needs no sign-up.
  3. Watch the issue list: earlier issues stay listed and can be downloaded again, and the diff against the previous issue is shown.
  4. When a price arrives, review it on Money → Quotes, where Compare Quotes sets rival prices side by side.
