Plans
Under Planning in the menu.
The register of controlled drawings for the project: current and superseded versions, organised in standard folders.
Methodology: A plan is a controlled drawing with versions — the register distinguishes the latest version from the one you have selected to work from, so superseding a drawing never silently changes what the team is building against. Plans usually arrive by promoting a drawing from Documents or by filing a marked-up survey drawing, rather than being uploaded cold.
Steps:
- In Add plan press Choose files, name the plan, pick the source contact, folder and room, then press Add plan. Drawings arriving from email or the survey queue in New drawings to add to plans — set Add as, Discipline and Folder, then Add to plans.
- When a drawing changes press + version on the plan: Revision / notes, Issue date and the file, then Add version.
- The newest upload is marked Latest; press Select on another version to make it the one in force, marked Selected.
- Filter by Discipline and Folder, use New folder or Standard folders to organise; site photographs live on Photos & Video, not here.
