Timeline

Under Planning in the menu.

A phase-based schedule showing jobs, critical path, milestones and contractor-visible actions. Now the Timeline view of Jobs, Timeline & Calendar.

Methodology: The timeline turns the jobs list into a delivery plan. Phase separators show the change in workstream; critical path items drive the finish date.

Steps:

  1. Drag a bar to move it, or drag its right edge to resize; click a bar to open the job.
  2. Drag a phase bar to pin the phase's own dates; otherwise it spans its dated jobs.
  3. Press Fit or the zoom buttons to frame the programme.
  4. Press Export Excel or Export PDF for a copy.
