Rooms

Under Planning in the menu.

The room list for the property: each room's details, survey status, photos and video clips, floor by floor.

Methodology: Rooms belong to the property rather than a project, so the same kitchen can be surveyed, photographed, planned and snagged across several projects without anything being retyped. The room list is also what the Survey & Markup page walks through, so a complete, sensibly named list is worth having before survey work starts.

Steps:

  1. Start with Apply template… for the property type, or Guess to fill rooms from the property details, then + Add room for anything missing.
  2. Pick a room to set its Floor, Room name and Description / scope on Overview, and press Save rooms.
  3. Use the room's tabs — Ideas, Photos & Video, Plans & Docs, Survey & Heat, Work — for everything linked to it; Survey this room opens the project survey on that room.
  4. Rename or move a room freely — everything linked to it follows.
