Stage 2 — Drawings & Outlines

Part of Survey & Markup.

Attach the floor-plan drawings and outline each room on them, so everything you mark up later knows which room it is in.

Methodology: A marked-up socket is only useful if the schedule can say which room it is in. Outlining the rooms on the drawing is what makes that link — the outline, not the drawing, is what the markup counts against. A drawing can be a PDF or an image; the latest version of a plan from the Plans register is offered first.

Steps:

  1. Press Add drawing and choose the floor plan for each floor (several at once is fine).
  2. Press Outline rooms, click a room chip, then trace that room on the drawing; repeat for each room.
  3. Check every surveyed room has an outline — a room with none will not appear on the item schedule.
  4. Press Next: Mark Up the Plans.
