Bills & Accounts
Under Refurbly Care in the menu.
The utility, insurance, service and finance accounts on the home — regular payment, frequency, start date and the date any fixed deal ends — and the bills recorded against them.
Methodology: An account is a standing commitment: who you pay, how much, how often, and when the fixed term ends. The fixed-until date drives a renewal nudge sized to the account type, early enough to lock a new rate. Accounts that have not started yet do not count towards running costs until they do.
Steps:
- Press Add account: Type, Supplier, Account number, Tariff, Regular payment and Frequency.
- Leave Starts blank if the account is already running; set Fixed until where there is a fixed term.
- Press Add account; edit later with the pencil, or delete the account and its bills with the bin.
- When a bill arrives press the receipt icon on its account (or Record bill at the top): Amount, Period from and to, Issued, Paid on, Reference, then Record bill. These add up as Billed on Running Costs.
- Watch the amber renewals banner and the blue not-started banner at the top; Recent bills lists what has been recorded, with a bin icon to remove a mistake.
