The home file for after the build: switch Care on for a property you already have, and manage its assets, maintenance, bills, meters and running costs.

Methodology: A refurbishment has an end; the house does not. Care attaches to a property you already hold rather than a new address, and is billed per property under care, separately from Projects. Pausing a property frees its seat and stops reminders but keeps the history — useful when a home is sold or let.

Steps:

  1. With no Care yet, press Add Refurbly Care and choose a plan (one, three or ten properties).
  2. Press Switch Care on beside a property; the Home File opens.
  3. Use Pause and Resume Care as properties come and go; the page shows how many of your seats are in use.
  4. A finished project offers handover into Care automatically, carrying its assets and recurring costs across.
