A property is the physical home. Projects are the separate scopes of work running under it, such as the main refurb, garage conversion or garden room.

Methodology: Store property facts once, then attach one or more projects to that property. This keeps rooms, photos, plans and future projects anchored to the same asset.

Steps:

  1. Press New property to add a home, or New project to add a scope of work under one you already have.
  2. On a property card, press Add project for each separate scope — it gets its own budget, phases and programme.
  3. Press the star (Set property as default, Set project as default) on the pair the app should open on.
  4. Use the card icons to edit, archive or open a property; each project row has Edit project setup, Merge this project into another and Archive project.
