Hand Over to Refurbly Care

Move a finished project into Refurbly Care, the ongoing property-management side of the app.

Methodology: When the refurbishment completes, the property's useful records — documents, certificates, contractor history, media — outlive the project. Handover moves the property under Refurbly Care so warranties, maintenance and ongoing costs are managed against the home rather than a closed project. Care is billed separately from active projects.

Steps:

  1. Read Carries over automatically for what moves without asking.
  2. Under Assets to add tick the plant and appliances Refurbly spotted in your invoices and materials — boiler, MVHR, EV charger — that are real.
  3. Check Cover to keep tracking and Running costs that carry on.
  4. Press Create home file; the project record stays intact and readable, and the Home File opens.
