Snagging

Under Project management in the menu.

Track defects, loose ends and completion issues through to verification, each snag aligned to its room, element, phase and job.

Methodology: Snagging is a controlled close-out list. Each snag records where it is (room and building element) and what work it belongs to (phase and job), with severity, owner and status until verified — so the right contractor sees the right defect with no ambiguity about location.

Steps:

  1. Press Add snag: What's the defect?, Description, Room, Building element, Phase, Job and Severity (Low, Medium, High).
  2. Add evidence with the Photo and Video capture buttons.
  3. Under Alert the supplier pick Email, WhatsApp or SMS and tick Alert on save — the supplier with the accepted quote for that phase or job is offered.
  4. Move each snag Open → In progress → Fixed → Verified with the status select; click a row to Edit snag and Alert now. Snags can also be raised from On Site.
